National Political Astrology: Libra Michael Steele (R) Head of the RNC says, Fire me or SHUT UP!

I love seeing Michael Steele’s face amongst the talking heads. Even before he was voted head of the RNC—before I even knew who he was—I was always amused by “that black guy who isn’t a Democrat.” He was (and is) so outspoken and witty and conservative, and he would not shut up! HA! It’s funny that now he is issuing the order to dissenters within the Republican Party. Well, I thought I’d go ahead and check out his natals. (See chart graphic below.)

Michael Steele is listed with a birth date of October 19, 1958, per Wikipedia. He’s a Libra and a Lawyer! A Lawbra! But I digress…Right away, I see his natal Mars, in talkative Gemini, square Pluto. He’s got some powerful heat behind his words, that’s for sure, and a good number of angry opponents at that. He also has a natal Mercury/Pluto sextile to add to the intensity of his speech. He’s an Intense Communicator to say the least! (This is especially appealing to me, as I’m going through a transiting Pluto square natal Mercury- Mercury is my chart ruler.) I would note that the “estimated” progressed Moon (though not entirely accurate due to unknown birth time) is approaching an T-Square with his natal Mars/Pluto configuration.

Moving on, there is a bit of truth to the threat by many Republicans to stop Steel’s control of money for the RNC. His progressed chart shows transiting Saturn approaching a conjunction with his natal Venus. In addition, his progressed Venus is also in a separating conjunction with his natal Saturn. Well,  miserly, tight-fisted Saturn usually puts a damper on vain, self-interested Venus (ruler of Libra), which is what we are seeing now. I’m curious as to how it will all play out.
